anybody know?
ECU woes? I
s this in any way related to your other thread in the Basement?
(Namely the inability to rev past 7K?)
Without comparing ECU pinouts, I can't give a detailed response.
I wouldn't do it, frankly.

i was wondering if someone could have botched up and actually ordered/recieved the wrong ecu and installed it without throwing any codes...
i figure there must be a fail safe in there, but i'm just looking for things i could check before i go back.

What would happen is absolutely nothing. Your components of the ls would not be integrated to gsr data. You don't have the parts in an LS to match up to what a gsr ecu is going to provide. If anything the car probably woudl not even run cause it would not be making sense. This is my theory...

h:turns out the dealer cleared some codes after the diag test tho, i'm totally pulling the battery terminal and letting the ECU reset before i leave the dealer tommorrow.
how long does an ecu reset take, and how do i pull codes without a reader again?
