Default What conversions are needed to put 94 engine in 90 teg

I have a 90 teg. was told that the tranny on 90 is cable but 94 is hydrolic. In lame dummy terms whats the difference. My mechanic told me its pricy 2 get work done for that. Was wondering how much and how hard is it. I have a 94 teg in the yard with a running engine. It would probally cost me as much for that whole engine

that conversion kit is ~400 and it is not worth it. how many miles are on ur current tranny? any grinds? if not just use it. wat u can do is just get the long block for the 94 (b18b) and just slap in all of ur b18a sensors, ecu, tranny, ect. everything should work fine.

damnit so the kit is 450 not 150 and how much is cheap for a tranny only hope i have right now is 50-60 bucks@U PULL IT. I can get the whole 94 engine for like 300-400 bucks. Should I just get the motor and look for a cable tranny. Also if so aren't I gonna buy a new engine in labor cost.
