Default header questions; 93-94?

if a 93 integra had a type r swap in it, which header would fit best, a 93 gs-r or a 99 itr? im looking to do a DC header, not stock.

EDIT: this is a buddys car. im workin on it. he wants a 4-1 header. he has a aftermarket traction bar in place of his stock crossmember so clearance isnt an issue. but they dont make a 4-1 header for a 92-93 integra because of that crossmember in the way. would i run into length issues if i use a 4-1 header for a itr? or 94+ gsr?

good question. your best bet is to actually get a custom header made. I know Type-R engines have higher compression, and sit differently in the engine bay than a GS-R engine. If I were you, I would post this in the Integra Type-R Forum and see what responses you get.

ITR= integra type-r
so if u have the ITR swap go with the ITR header.

i think this may have to be a trial and error...get the 4-1 header for the ITR and see what happens, if it doesnt fit u could always just sell it as brand new because it wasnt used. good luck
