car sputters need suggestions

i have a 94 gsr and when i am driving at around 3k to 4k rpm the car does this sputtering thing i don't know what it is if anyone has any suggestions to what it could bee it would help out alot

Ignition most likely. Check for corss-firing wires and work your way back to the coil. Check your distributor components for any dark spots as they may be related to an electrical short.
