Default Acura radio error-3 message

I've recently had my '97 integra serviced. My mechanic may have removed the battery terminals to clean them.
The radio asked for the code when I turned it on but entred the wrong numbers. Now, all I get is "err-3".
How do I reenter the codes?

Thanks,
arktek

I don't remember exactly, but I believe you must leave the radio on for a certain amount of time before it lets your reenter the code. Hopefully some member will know the exact time.

Well i dont know if it was the err-3 that came up on mine but i fixed it by unhooking it from the battery again. I had to take my radio out look up the number on the back and call my acura dealership to get my code. I think mine was saying err-5 though
