Well, if you want to boost 12 pounds you'll need new rod bearings, rod bolts, rods, and might as well get some new pistons while your at it. Head studs would help a great deal as well. It's a different story if you want to boost 6-8.

As for the rest of the shit you'll need bigger injectors, an adjustable fuel pressure regulator is nice to have, adjustable cam gears, maybe a walbro fuel pump, chip your ecu and have it tuned unless your using the AEM or Greddy box.

you cant just start out at 12 psi, unless you wanna have a reason to rebuild it, yeah Omniscient is right, new rods, bearings, etc. build it for boost!

how many miles are on the SI? 6-8 is a safe setting.

Thank you.:goodjob:

All the other posts above are as worthless as the original post.
Without know anything about his potential set-up you can't advise him accuratly...
12psi means NOTHING.....
Tune your motor for a desired power level, invest in your tuning, and you'll be all good.
What are you planing to tune with (engine management)?
What size of turbo?
Whats your budget?
How much power do you want.
Your motor can handle a little over 300whp with good tuning for daily driving.
Tuning and actual power made determin the limits of a motor, not some boost level.....
