will these springs work

i hope this is not a stupid question but im just wondering if a set of new tein lowring springs for a 88/91 civic/crx would work in a EK 96-00 civic?

they will ride like utter garbage and the drop will be rediculous......so I mean yeah they work...but that doesnt mean they should be used.
