Default CA emissions question

I have a 94 civic that I have just brought to california, and it needs to be smoged. The only modification I have is a kamikaze header, will this interfere with any emissions laws?

Does it still ave the o2 sensor, if it does then most smog shops will let it slide

no o2 sensor and its a visual fail and you will probly be running really rich

it has the o2 sensor at then end of the a pipe right next to the cat. i noticed the oem piece has the o2 located on the exhaust manifold where it goes from 4 to 2, is this the same sensor or a different one?

It isn't CARB exempt, so you will either have to fit the OEM one back on or buy a CARB exempt header like DC sports.

I dont have an OEM one because I couldnt get a bad o2 sensor out so i scraped it. schmoo, know anyone in socal that has an OEM one I could use or buy? i was quoted 125 for the whole piece from a junk yard, but im smarter than that.

I'm sorry I don't. I would just invest in a DC sports piece since you will now have to deal with the fun emissions testing in this state.

It needs to have a CARB EO number. Without it...the bolt on is illegal and will not pass visual.
