Default question about b18a1 block

Im considering purchasing this block and i had a question. There is a black rectangular rubber object on the back of the block to the right of the oil filter. Im not familiar with what this is. The engine is from a 91 integra. I will try to post a picture of it, but i have never posted a pic before, so bare with me. Thanks.

It is a PCV breather tank. On line goes from the block to it and the other line goes to a nipple on the intake manifold.

How come my 2000 integra ls doesn't have one of those? Did they engineer something different over the years?

Are you sure? My 96 GSR has one. Maybe they have another way of filtering out blowby vapor...:dunno:

I think all years GSR had that breather box on the block. Sometime ('97?) the LS switched to a baffled chamber under the valve cover.
