Default Need help in getting an exhaust system.

I really need help in getting an exhaust system for my car. It is a 2000 honda civic vp 4dr, automatic, 4 cyl., 1.6L. Everywhere I look for one people never have a civic VP to choose from it is always EX, DX, SI, LX and so on. So can someone please help me out by telling me where I can buy exhaust system (headers, pipe, exhaust, etc...).

I don't know what block it is nor the engine code. What do you mean by what block it is? How do find out what engine code it is? Thanks for replying.

Why do you want an exhuast system? Is it going to be for sound/performence/looks?

If it's purely for sound/looks then just get a catback system. As for perforemence, the cost for your exhuast system will not yield you gains that you paid for.

simple answer is to look for anything for a DX or LX. same motor and everything, only the options are different. you have a D16Y7.

isint the d16y7 a vtec engine?? Why are VP's so rare or hard to find?? why did honda create that particular model of civic, was it only from 96-00??

they created the VP(value package) for people who just wanted the basic options that dont kill your budget, thats all. the D16Y7 is the non-vtec engine, the D16Y5 is the engine that is in the HX with the vtec-e(fuel economy vtec) and the D16Y8 is the EX motor with the normal vtec.
