Is it one of the regular metal antenna's? If so, it should have a pretty long wire attached to it that plugs directly into the radio.
Once you remove the two screws holding it to the car, and unplug it from the radio (if the wires are still there). You should just be able to pull the whole thing out from the top, making sure you don't snag the wire on anything under the dash on its way out.
If that's not what you're looking for, I'm confused.

in my 97 cx, it took me a good half hr to figure out how the hell to get it out. I was pretty much to the point of cutting it off and leaving it in there. Mine is getting shaved cause im getting XM radio. Just remove the 2 screws as mentioned, and pull it up as high as you can. Then under the dash (may have to remove a panel. Attached to a metal brace right where your left knee would be is a plug, just unplug that and pull it up. At least thats how mine was.
When you go to put a new antenna in it, you'll have to run the new wire back down about the same place the old one is sitting. Can be harder to get the new one in than getting the old one out.
I did mine with a coat hangar and some string. Tie the string around the end of the plug, hook it to the hangar, and feed it through the car body until it pops out down by the fuse box. From there you can grab the wire and feed it through where you need to to make sure it gets to the radio. If you don't hook up the antenna, then you're not likely going to get much (if anything) for radio reception...
The first time I changed an antenna (in an 87 Accord), the wire was pinched in the steering column so I couldn't get it out. I didn't want to leave the wire in there, so my dad and I loosened up the steering wheel just enough to wiggle it free. Pain in the ass, but got the job done.
