i have a 93 civic cx i love it but i think i bought a lemon i want to make it a sleeper but i need help one problem is that when in fifth gear going 70 it sounds like it is going to blow the engine (some adivice on that) what are some upgrades i can use to make it faster i want to fix the engine before anything else happens next problem oil in where the spark plugs are at not normal right? what the problem if any one could help i would appericate it thanx for your time

 

What kind of noise does the tranny make (rattle, clunk, thud, grind)? It may be a bearing. If you can find a good condition used tranny from a junk yard, it will be less expensive than paying someone to rebuild yours.

You should not have oil in with your spark plugs. This may just be the spark plug gaskets on the valve cover. These are cheap and easy to replace. Hopefully it isn't something else.
