Im a newbie here. Ill stick around this forum for a while since she will have to keep this car for a long time. Just out of warranty car has 55K miles.


Drivers side low beams are completely dim/yellow. I replaced the low beam bulb and it does the same thing.

I even swapped the passenger side bulbs over to the drivers side and problem still exsists. The bulbs are fine.

Checked fuses and they are fine. Swapped relays and problem still exsists.


Is there a grounding point for the headlight housing somewhere? How do you take the housing/ lens off?

I will go get the battery checked tomorrow to see if thats he problem. Anything else you guys can think of?

 

Found the culprit. Loks like the high beam wire was broken and had touched ground somewhere. The fuse was blown also. Couldnt really tell all that since I was in the dark last night. its all good now.
