Default Molding Plastic?

Hey, im gonna be soon swapping in a LS Cluster into my 94 EJ. I've been looking at pictures and i see that the cluster kinda has gaps all around it. I was wondering. do you think i could get my 94 Cluster and cut the bezzel out and then shave down the bezzel on my LS Cluster and then some how plastic weld it on so that i can get the stock fitment with the LS Cluster. OR i was thinking just throw the LS Cluster in and then get some kinda of plastic that i can use to mold the rest of my Dash to the cluster so it can look stock.

Has Anyone tried this? if so pictures would be nice
