Default 92 Si DC header 1PC or 2PC?

Guy up the street is selling a brand new DC stamped header. One piece. Cheap. Is it better to run a one piece or a two piece header? I would think that heat would hit the apex of the pipe and maybe wear it out faster, but I dunno. Dealing with one less gasket seems to make it more appealing.

Any suggestions are most apreciated.

It doesn't really matter at all. I'd say a two peice is easier to put on. But the header will yield such insignificant gains that it doesn't really matter if it's a one or two.

I have ot agree about 1 piece vs 2 piece installation. My 00 Civic Si has a 1 piece and it's a pain in the ass to wiggle in there. My 91 Si has a 2 piece DC and it was a breeze to install.

I have just recently installed a 1 piece dc header to my 94 eg civic vti (b16a2) and it was a breeze, i just got sum1 to lower plastic guard back and it went straight in. are you getting a 4-1 or 4-2-1?

I dont know about that being a breeze, but ok.

4-1 would be good for high end tq and 4-2-1 would be good for the low-end. Pick what suits your needs better.

I installed a 1 peice dc 4-2-1 header in my 93 si last year and was very easy.
