use your seat belt, case closed......JK JK. i dont know how but what i would do is call a dealership and tell them the beeping noise started to get silent and then stoped. ask them how to replace this , what part, and where. THEN just find it and pull it............or turn the radio up=)

:a: Sigh.... The problem would be easier to diagnose if you gave us the model year of the car.

In general, there ought to be a wiring harness coming out of the seatbelt buckle.. assuming you don't have the old motorized shoulder belts.

If there is one, unplug it and the problem ought to resolve itself.
Granted, you have to remind yourself to buckle up each time from that point on....

When the belt clip is inserted into the socket, it closes an electrical curcuit and the alarm stops. If you are really in a jam, you could simulate the connection by attaching the wires connected to the seat belt socket.

I think I can solve that problem. First you have to tell me what year is your car. And what does the beep do... like if it beeps constantly while driving. Slowly or fast? Be specific about the beep.

Its a common problem in 90 to 93 Integras that the ICU go bad. Thats Integrated Control Unit. My car had that mysterious beep too. I did my research through other forums and asking several dealerships. ANd the majority said that the ICU solved their problem. Well, I swapped it with one that I snagged from the Junkyard, installed it and the sound dissappeared for 5 months now. Solved my intermentant wipers too.

The ICU controls the intermentant wipers, powerwindows, the defroster. If you want to know where the ICU is located Just email me and I'll give you more details.
