Noise Problem

I have a 97 Civic Coupe and when i put the car on reverse and maintain the clutch pressed down, it makes a weird noise, like if something(clutch) was grinding??

Anyone have any ideas on this one!

Not sure but does the reverse gear run on it's own shaft? or does it share with another gear?

is it a squeeking nose ? if so, get the the flywheel resurfaced....
