Default Gas Leak by Fuel Injector #1

I was warming up my Integra Saturday morning with the hood opened and as I was walking around the front of the car, I noticed a blatant scent of Gas. I checked around the injectors and shockingly found what seemed like a smaill puddle of gas at the bottom on fuel injector number 1, well the first fuel injector starting from the left if you're facing the motor. I turned off the car, grabbed a rag and dipped it into the puddle. I smelled the rag and it's GAS. I started the car again and watched for it to happen again and nothing. It seems like when the car is cold, that's when this issue will occur.

I haven't watched the motor as it warms up to really see what's going on.

Any ideas?

I had a similar issue when I got my car. We though it was the fuel injectors so I swapped them with some injectors my friend had sitting around in his shop and the gas was still there after some driving.. It ended up that the valve cover gasket was not seated correctly. I replace the gasket and problem was solved.

Sounds like a leaking injector. If it only shows up in the morning its prob leaking overnight while theres still pressure in the system. Could happen during the day also if the car sits for a few hours after being driven...

Thanks guys for the feed back. The valve cover is an easy replacement. However the O-Ring seems a little challenging. Is this a straight forward process? I've checked the forums for a how-to on this with no luck. I do have the repair manual but wonder if you guys have done this before and can give me a play-by-play.

Thanks again!
