ok i just finished my swap and im running into problems. First problem is it idles at 2500rpm and stays there no matter what.... the butterfly is closed all the way and i checked if there was a leak but didnt see anything. The only way i can drop it down by about 800-1000 rpm is if i plug the hole in the tb to the tps. My next problem is my engine light is on and when i go to check it nothing flashs (just my srs where i have a problem). if anyone can throw out ideas on what it could be id love to hear it...

have you checked for vaccum leaks?

 

Fix your vac leak and your idle will drop.
How are you checking for codes?

 

through the jumper but it wont flash..... my srs light does because i have a problem there but my engine light stays solid
