Default How Am I supposed to place the jackstands

... When there is room for it ?? The reenforced jack point can not accomodate the jack and the jack stand at the same time ... it's too short. See once I raise the car I should place the jackstands in place and then remove the jack, right? Well, I cant .. since there is no room to place the jackstands... How do you guys so it ????

There is a jacking point on the bottom side of the radiator support in the front.

There are the 4 jacking points that you are talking about. There is also one in the front of the car under the radiator support like umop said, and also one in the rear (the ring to attach a tow hitch).

I just jack it up from either one and put the jackstands under the jacking points near the tires. I also put wood blocks between the jack and car to get more height out of it so I can fit the jackstands in.

If you need to get the whole car up on jack stands this is what I do:

1) find the front jack joint as everyone said under the radiator. Jack up the car from there but make sure the jack is centered or you will punch a hole through the condenser like I did
2) put jack stands under the front jack points right under the fronts of the doors
3) then jack up the rear by using the rear toe hook or using the subframe near the gas tank.
4) then put jack stands under the rear jack points.

I place the jackstands on the back of the lower control arm. No problem. I try to not depend on just the jackstands if I'm under the car. I also have the jack locked into place too.

Why not just use the jack points? They ARE there for a reason...

Cause he is trying to figure out how to jack the car up (using the passenger or driver's side jack points) and then using a jack stand.
