saw a GSX today with stock intercooler spray, then saw a STI with it too. WHY NOT do this to mine. is it really worth it. Ive seen a few kits on ebay sell for 50bux'ish and they say mount it under your hood. im sure that water will get warm and defet the puropse. id rather go with CO2. anyone do this yet, opions on this needed!!!

 

Most real spray kits use compressed nitrous. Since dripping water on the track will get you disqualified, it is a good method because not only will it not drip, but the nitrous is extremely cold.

I don't really know if it is worth it, though. I haven't seen any dyno sheets that confirm it will significantly increase horsepower.

 

It might be more for if you're running a track race where you boost alot and its just a saftey thing.

 

CRYO2 Makes a kit for it. It uses CO2. I think u can just buy a spray nozzle and a solenoid, and aim it at ur intercooler. It is jsut lower your intake temperautre. I dont know if it will give you significant amount of power. But it will definitly be something you can feel. I am sure tho that they dontmake a intercooler spray kit because they dont do anything.
