It is more solid. The sloppiness is cleaned up.

I picked up my ES shifter bushings at Pepboys for $10, so it was definitely worth the investment.

how long was install time? do i just have to get under there and pop out the stock ones or would it be a better idea just to take the linkage out and make sure everything tight

It is probably easier to pop the linkage out to get the circular one in. I had the most trouble with that one, because I had to use my bare hands to get it in from underneath the car. The other one isn't too difficult. Overall, it probably took 30 minutes or so.

The bushings are definantly worth it. The shifts feel very solid.

Default short shifter

hey this brings up a question I have about a short shifter I installed in m acura it is long enough below the car that it rubs against the heat guard on the muffler? Is there an easy way of fixing this? will a shop do it for me?

Just remove the heat shield.
