What do you think?
I have a Brand new ebay Hi flow cat. No name brand or nothing. I bought it a LONGGGGGGG time ago and just never got around to using it. I think my cat is messed up. Everytime I break my bolt's that connect my headers to my cat the car seems to be a whole lot faster then when it is hooked up. So that leads me to beilive that the stock cat is shot. It's been there since 95 10 years. It's been through stock auto, 5 speed many, 13psi, ls/vtec, and now B20/vtec. I just think it's about that time. When I went to the muffler shop a while back I just go t them to weld a new pipe to the cat 2.25 and I called it a day. So maybe it's shot or maybe it's just to small and when the bolt's break that's why I get the increase in power. Anyway's Im gonna change it. I just wanna know what you guys think of the ebay hi flow cats out there(no name brand). Thanks
If it fits without modification then just change it yourself and post back here to tell us if you notice any difference.
A lot of people at the track run no exahaust past the header for a reason, you could be bottlenecking somewhere - maybe your cat, maybe not.

i don't know... We don't really know what the cfm rating is on the ebay ones. Also is it worth $40 -60 for a shop to wield it on their? Your taking a chance with this one.
Or you might just wanna shell out $130 for a magnaflow cat that is a sure bet to improve exhuast flow?
