Probally a stupid question, but my clutch pedal seems to be getting eayer to push down and sifter every few days. Is this a sign of maybe I should get a new clutch?

 

have you checked your fluid?

 

Also could be the pressure plate wearing out.

 

you should check your fluid like teg92 said, I had the same problem and I checked my fluid and only a few drops were left in the container, I filled it and everything was fine, although it could also be the wear of your plate just like txhatch said

 

You may need to bleed the clutch line. Check for fluid on the inside firewall above the clutch pedal too. If it's wet there you have a bad master cylinder (clutch).

where is the tranny's dipstock located? I see a black rubber piece covering a tube going into the trans. Is it sapose to be there?

 

UUH if it is a manual tranny there is no dipstick,

you need to check it the old fashioned way and get underneath the car and find the filler plug

 

I doubt it's the problem (trany fluid) but If I were you, this would be a great time to change it. Buy 2 qts of 10w-40 motor oil. Drain the tranny from the bolt that has a square hole for your 3/8ths ratchet. Replug the drain and then fill the tranny with a funnel and hose untill it runs out of the filler hole (17mm bolt that is above and behind the drain hole).

More than likely, it's your clutch fluid. Have you look for what I said in my last reply yet?

 

Yea, the clutch line seemed good to me. I bleed it a little tho. It gave some pressure back. Thanks
