a buddy of mine, the one w/ the white del sol that was posted up on here a while back is selling that car for a 97 gsr b18c1, red w/ 128 thousand. the dude wants $3300, it has a new head gasket, waterpump and timing belt?? this seem odd? it has a minor dent on the front left fender which i can fix and the front bumper itself is srachted up pretty bad as well. overall the car runs great. what do you guys think??

I just paid 5200 for a 97 LS with 87k.

 

if the car has 128k miles and he is just now saying it needs a water pump and timing belt, does this mean that he has not changed the timing belt up to 128k miles? if so, what else has been neglected? check everything before buying! not trying to rain on your sunshine, but one must be careful.

jjang, the car had these replaced before they needed to be, jsut so it could be sold, they all were done about 80k also. all done at a honda deal here in groton Ct.
