Default Strange squeak/scratching noise...

Test drove a 98 GSR today. Whenever making "sharp" (sharp being really light actually) left turns, a loud scraping noise comes from the rear right. I have no idea what it is.... I took a look at the upper mount bolts and they looked fine... what could it be??

Wheel bearing? Grab that right wheel and give it a shake. Probably better if you lift it up.
How many miles are on it?

Possibly wheel bearing...maybe worn bushings?

My Integra makes noises like that (I think). What causes it on mine is that the car was in an accident and the sound is from the tire rubbing the edge of the fender, the fender got moved in about a half inch. It kinda sounds like a squeaky spring or something but it's actually just rubbing.

Grab the wheel and pull it towards yourself, like you want to pull it off the car. Any movement or wiggling indicates something wrong with the bearing or hub. It might click, thump, or rattle.
If you can lift the car, slowly spin the tire and feel for grating or rubbing.
It might just be worn brake pads.

Hey Travis, thanks ill do that. Its not the pads because I know what that sounds like and its definitly during "hard" turning when the weight of the car pushes onto it.

How expensive is to replace the bearing/hub?
