Default proper size downpipe and back

well, the turbo process has begun and im now thinking about exhaust. what size should i run 2.5 or 3" i hear 3" is a lot safer. prevents the motor from blowing. i plan on being around 290hp "possible more". anyways so what size is good. id rather go 2.5 but if i must i guess 3"

Exhaust size has nothing to do with your motor blowing.

Or get the 3" piping kit from Kteller.com and get it made into a full exhaust.

The Thermal exhaust is really nice, though.

3" will be the most ideal for your setup. It will allow for less backpressure and fewer bottlenecks.
