Improved gas mileage...
FYI....don't know if any of you have heard of this. I was skeptical at first, but thought I'd try it out since it had a 30 money back guarantee.

I went here and bought one for my 97 civic ex. I installed one along w/ a K&N Airfilter and saw my mpg increase by 5.5. I also bought one for my 94 F-150. I haven't evualated it yet since the price of gas has been over $3 per gal, and it cost me nearly $100 to fill it up....
The turbonator is $69.95, and they have one that will fit all makes and models. Food for thought...

This piece of crap has been covered several times before, I guess there really is a sucker born every 5 minutes.
turbonator, spiralmax, whatever you call it, its all the same $0.39 piece of metal. Does nothing for modern cars, cant and won't. PERIOD.
Sit down for a minute and trace the path of the incoming air all the way to the combustion chamber then tell me how this does a damn thing to effect fuel economy or performance. Swirling air.....lol
Sorry you wasted $149 for two of them.

Well, to each his own. All I know is that it did improve my gas mileage. That was the whole point of it. Each case is different. Won't work for everyone. And I don't appreciate the name calling. But hey, that's o.k.....it's like they say, opinions are like a**holes......
You installed a new airfilter along with the thingy, right? Well, theres another variable. Another one is the way that you drive. My civic get anywhere from 27 MPG to 38, depending on how much I hammer on it.

I'm sorry i didn't mean to insut you, but the turbonator didn't do anything for you.
I'm usually straight to the point kind of guy (no beating around the bush here).

Adding a high flow intake, free flowing exhaust, and header won't give you 5% increase in fuel economy, what makes you think a $1.50 piece of aluminum will give you that kind of results? How many tanks of petrol did you go through to come up with your census of this item? I hope you've burned more then about 200 gallons of petrol.
I can tell you that my truck gets 21mpg average, but i'd be lieing to you.......
Sure it'll get 21mpg if I drive 300 miles at 55mph, but that's not real world situations, stop and go is a part of life.......
Trace the path of airflow....it goes though a filter....then into an intake tube....still probably flowing the same.....then it hits a "TURBONATOR" and it "swirls" the air (
).....ok fine.. then it hits a butterfly valve.................Whats going to happen to that "SWIRLING" air.....it's going to strighten out..........duh........physics says so......... if thats not enough....I'm sure your intake runners will take care if that "swirling" air by making it straight.....how many straight aways does it take to make you straight??????????????If "swirling" the intake made better fuel economy dont you think the manufatures would have figured something like that out by now????

Well the average car is built for the average person.
If honda put a cai on every car, i'm sure a lot of people would complain about the added noise. Same goes for a free flowing exhaust. Sure it improves fuel economy and performance, but at a cost (added noise). Not all people are after every last bit of performance in their hyundai or civic.
Thats why "performance" cars tend to have a louder deeper exhaust tone (not only cause they usually have larger engines). since they are performance vehicles they can run that stuff.
You changed two things then came to the conclusion that one of the things (of your choosing) improved results. Sorry, but that's not exactly scientific...
Based on what I've read (not advertisements but an impartial controlled test) the "swirly device" is likely to actually lower mileage and hp.
The K&N is more likely to improve mileage.
