Default "Ruby" tail lights???

A friend of mine was mentioning something about how only specific integras came with "All red" tails (without the orange square of dumb.)

and I would like to obtain a pair of these... can anyone inform me of exactly what/where these come from??

Much appreciated.

You can get them from ebay or get lucky and find them on a forum. They usually range from $150+, so you have to ask yourself whether 1 square feet of red vs amber is worth that price.

To me it isn't...

There are also vinyl kits that you can get to do this. From past experience on RSX's, they look really good.

Or you can spray them with transparent red paint.

I like it when people look at my little orange square of dumb. That means they are behind me - which is my main focus.

In other words... You should worry more about your motor than pretty lights, body kits, and paint jobs.

Different strokes for different folks.

I personally agree, but there isn't anything wrong with trying to make the car look good if that is your interest.

If you can get your hands on a 24 dollar can tail light spray, and prep the area to be painted it can come out looking pretty good. I like the all red on my 99 but that is just me...

When I got my Prelude it had altezzas so I quickly painted them all red until I got a set of stock lights. I used the candy apple red paint made by Testors. It turned out really good and lasted until I replaced them. I reccommend keeping some type of wax on the paint to keep it protected.

I for one preferred the amber tails to the all-reds.
