Default How To: Nitrous on an Automatic ?

Alright guys so here's the scenario, i recently picked up a NOS fogger set up I'd liek to put on my z6 ... I'm just curious though how do you spray if your automatic ? do you just leave it in D4 "floor it" don't spray the first gear than spray in 2nd gear after 3k rpm's or you actually click through the gear than once in D2 after 3k you spray ? i'm just curious, i know there's a few automatic's running around here on nitrous so give me some insight on how you guys do it ? Please no haters , thanks in advance for the help & guidance you guys - justin

Leave it in D4, wait til after 3k or so to spray. I'd also pick up a window switch to turn the nitrous off right before your tranny shifts...just for safety.

Well I know quite a bit about nitrous...and have for a while. Regardless of whether you have auto or manual, you don't want to spray under 3k rpm.

Yeah, they're called window switches, and I already posted about them.
