WTB 06 RSX-What is a fair price?
Can you help me? My daughter wants a 06 RSX w/AT and leather, can I expect to find one for invoice, or close to it? Is it reasonable to find one close to invoice or within $350? We bought a new 2005 TL and would go to the same dealer if they gave us anything close to invoice w/no junk fees, like dealer prep or a doc fee, etc.
By the way, does anyone want to trade for a very nice, low mileage, loaded 2001 GMC Denali XL? It has under 56K miles. My wife drove it to work and we used it for vacations. She also towed a little Sea Doo jet boat with it. We bought it new for around $55K (MSRP), and it includes an extended warranty which was about $3800!
I think the 2006 Acura RSX, w/AT and leather, invoices for about $20,500. This would be a great trade for someone. The Denali XL is loaded with the moon roof, 6 disc changer w/bass kicker, 4 captains chairs, luggage rack, and 17" polished wheels w/high mileage Michelins. I think it was every option offered for that year.
If someone wants the SUV but does not have an Acura RSX, I can arrange a three way deal with the local dealer. It would save you some money, and save me a bunch in sales taxes!
We did all the service at the required interval specified in the owners manual and changed the oil every 3000 miles (+/- 600 miles). I did some of the service myself as I enjoy doing the small easy stuff.
Let me know what you think I should expect to pay for a new 2006 Acura RSX with AT and leather!
Thanks,
JC

I need some advice on what to pay--is $625 over invoice a bit much?? I think they should sell me one at invoice since my wife bought new '05 TL about a 10 months ago! Plus, she bought every "extra" offered, including extended warranty, Service--pre-paid, interior protection package and exterior paint protection package! I told her she was nuts, but she wanted peach of mind. Who ever heard of protecting todays paint jobs??? ON an Acura too!
