Default Anything to complain about (06 type s)?

Hey guys, highly highly considering getting a showroom 06 RSX type s within the next few months. The only cars i ever owned were a 94 Jeep Cherokee, a 98 Integra GS-R, and now a 97 Civic CX hatch. Im putting way too much money into this civic, by the time i get everything i want it will be at about $12000 ill have paied for a car that books at $3000-4000.

I loved my integra, wish it had a bit more grunt, wish it had leather, but i loved everything else. Yet to drive the type s yet, but is there anything you would complain about if anything at all? The power should be a little up on my gs-r correct?
Any input is great, really looking from some positive feedback to really get me going.

The main gripes about the RSX are the leather not being that high quality (which was fixed for 05-06), the gears grind (a problem i've never had but is very widespread, supposedly it was fixed for 05-06) and the tires (unfortunately the 06 still uses the crappy Michelin all-seasons, they're just .5 inches wider than 02-04).

I don't see you having any problems. One downside of the 05-06 RSX is the lack of aftermarket parts compared to the 02-04 (although there's still quite a bit you can do for the 05-06).

The Integra GS-R is more of a competition for the base RSX. The Type S is just slightly outperformed by the Integra Type R.

I have an 06 Type S. The crap Michelins have to go. There is a brand new Hondata reflash for us 05/06ers, though! 600 bucks.

And the stereo is garbage. I'm gonna spring for Yokohama AVS Sports and see how that is. I may have to pop for new springs and shocks as well.

Anyone added satelitte radio?

The only bad things i have herd of the 06 rsx, is that the tires are shit, all season, put some low profile and you should be fine. I love how the front looks on the 06 rsx, looks really good, the back of it looks good too, just dont like how the tail lights are, but those can be changed really quick, and the type s even comes with a nice pipe on the end.

Performance tires you mean. Low profiles on the stockies will cause problems with odometer, speedometer, and mileage, not to mention looks. Unless your changing the rims to 18s or 19s.
