Arrived at the place really to pick upmy gs-r tranny, and not the b18b at this time. But of course they sold my tranny the day before even after he said its put aside for me .

So i got the b18b, he asked me and i said several times "I want a 0bd2 motor only" So he got me a b18b (stamped on the block) that even says 96-97 integra OBD2. Serial # 1300408. Now looking at the bill it says "sale: 1 OBD1 B18B"

Now how do i find out what it really is, just hoping he messed up on the bill and not my motor.

 

Someone has got to know...or is there any differences...like sensors that would be on a obd2 and not obd1 motor? I just called literally 14 acura dealers and 2 honda dealers and all didnt help, or just didnt give a crap enough to look it up.

 

How many plugs are on the distributor?

 

i think there are 2 02 sensors n obd2

 

The distributor was broken at the place so i had them take it off .

It has the intake manifold, exhaust manifold, some sensors, alternator...bout it and some of a cut wiring harness.

 

What does the valve cover look like? Is it pretty smooth/flat, or does it have raised rectangular portions on it?

 

theres a stamp on the head that has the year on it.
