Default wiring is killing me please help

ok i bought this 1990 ac attack from my brother... he swapped out the engine with a b16a port a polished/lighten flywheel/stage 2 clutch/lowered 2 inches/highflow hks catback/header/intake/ some other things- now he said he did the cam gears pullies and spark plugs wires- i dont think he did... now i need help... list of problems

1. speed cable is out of the back of the consol... can get it back in.. cant tell how fast im going.. anyone has an easy way of putting that thing back in... im ripping my hands apart...

2. this is were im getting pissed off... one day my reverse lights stopped working...when my car is off my gas light comes on and stays on all night... when my car is on... it sounds like my four ways are on... but they are not. my dome light is in the on position but when i open my side door it doesnt come on, but the passenger sides does... but when the passenger side door opens the gas light comes on. my headlights and turn signals work... so do my brakes... i found out one day steppin out of the car that when i pushed there the gas light turned off... so i think there is a loose wire... dont know which one or where to go for it...

3. i have a 1000 watt amp and two tens in the back.. my bass will work for a minute if that and stops working until you give the car some gas... most of the time it works.. but the other half it does not... so im freaking lost for words here... i dont know what the hell to do... someone please help!

Wow. Someone really messed your car up! Probably happened in the swap.

I would recommend rewiring the whole damn car, while you're at it-hook up the AEM ECU-it gets direct wired into all components anyway.

ok, at least for #3. find out what was/is used for the remote turn on for the amp. to test that theory, just jump the battery over to the remote turn on. drive it wired up that way. if it doesn't cut out, something is up with the remote (either an internal problem in the amp, or a problem for the remote's source of power). good luck.
