Im a little new to honda, but i just got me an 05 ep3 or si, only 2400 miles on it, in other words stock, but an intake on it that i just got a week ago, and im more than satisfy with it, now i've been trying to find me a throttle body for this engine, i dunno really if there is a brand out there that makes them already, or if there's any other possible way to get one, and where? also price questions around how much ? so help if anyone knows any solution or answers that can help?

 

Usually Honda makes it so lots of its engine parts are interchangeable. I am not sure but i would imagine that the RSX type s and the Type R probably have a bigger TB. You should check those out and see if they work.

 

yeah first thanks, i did figured that cu'z is the same k series engine, despite the oother minor differences, but i just don't know where i can find them ?

 

Well you can look at the for sale forum here for the rsx TB or even someplace like www.car-part.com . As for the Type R Tb I am not sure where to look for that

 

there are a few options... Type R throttle body, and shortly BDL industries (STR) will be releasing a billet throttle body, it looks pretty good. Other than that you could do an ITB set up but you will need Kpro.... you have an 05 so that makes it harder to have Kpro. Search on www.clubrsx.com and you can find all the info you need.
