does anyone have any experience with the weapon r secret weapon intake?
i have a AEM cold air right now and have hydrolocked once and had to get the short block replaced (somehow covered under warenty)
i dont want to risk it happening again with winter coming soon i'm looking for a short ram intake to replace it. any advice would be helpful

 

Don't get the weapon R. I got one for my wifes CRV and it already has little rust spots on different parts of it.I think I got it for her maybe 8 months ago. Plus the brace that they sent with it was all but useless. Oddly enough I have an AEM cold air to replace it with. Why not go with the AEM short ram?

I have the weapon R intake, i like it cuz it is stylist and unique. I love the way my Ep sound when it turns it self off. I just like it what can i say

If its for the RSX go for the Fujita F5 SRI. Its an SRI thats proven to have great gains and is even used in a race application. Its about the same price as a CAI however.

And if it is for an RSX I see no reason to get the Comptech unless you ONLY want something that looks stock or are a huge comptech fan or something.
