1996 Honda Accord EX-L FS in Orlando, Fla.
I am selling my 1996 Honda Accord EX-L in Orlando, Florida.
4-speed automatic trans, sunroof, power windows/locks, power driver's seat, CD/cassette player, cruise control, 4-wheel disc brakes w/ ABS, 145hp 2.2 4-cylinder w/ vtec, white leather interior and tinted windows.
164,000 highway miles (bought in 2002 w/ 45,000 miles) I went to school in Dearborn, and made many trips between Florida and Michigan. After I moved back home to Orlando, it became the family hauler...and has made many other trips to various other states. I have pictures of the car in every state it's visited for the interested.
Car is in immaculate condition inside and out, and has recently been reconditioned. This included:
EXTERIOR - new custom white gold pearl paint (original color was frost white) new lights front and back (TYC Jaguar S-type tailights in the rear, stock OEM in the front) New front and rear bumpers, all dents/dings repaired, added gold package, rear OEM spoiler w/ LED brake light, chrome plated door handles, new wiper arms and new front tires. (Rear tires still have healthy tred) I also have a new rim on the passenger front, but unfortunately the seller only had one available. It is an OEM Honda Accord rim from the 1996 Anniversary edition.
INTERIOR: Katzkin WHITE leather interior (brand new and recently installed) new carpeting (OEM color) Wood grain center console panel from 1997 SE (new) New Acura leather shift knob, CD/cassette combo stereo headunit from 1998 Acura TL (used, but in excellent condition) and comes with a Sony XPlod CD player headunit + installation kit upon request, New front and rear Sony Xplod speakers and leather wrapped steering wheel.
MECHANICAL: Complete tune-up and timing belt service done at Honda dealership 14,000 miles ago. Also had all gaskets/seals replaced, fuel filter, valve adjustment, accesory belts, hoses, PCV valve, brakes, CV axles/joints and 02 sensor replaced within the last 20,000 miles. I have all service records and receipts to back up all services. Oil changed every 4,000 miles w/ Mobil1 synthetic 10w30, transmission fluid replaced with Honda ATF every 30,000 miles and air filter replaced every 10,000 miles. Exhaust B-pipe was replaced at 90,000 miles. Radiator was replaced @ 120,000 miles, and is still under warranty. AC system is original, but still blows ice cold.
There are a few minor quirks with the car:
Power door locks in the rear do not work properly. Driver's side power window is slow and sometimes falls crooked on the track. I replaced the regulator about a year ago, but it's doing the same thing again. Power height adjuster on driver's seat does not work. I suspect a connection problem w/ the switch. Steering wheel has a little wear at the top center (but very minor) I have a new leather steering wheel that is complete and ready for installation. Tint on driver's side window, at the very top corner is beginning to peel.
Could probably use a new set of struts. That's it. Car can be driven anywhere, and has MANY miles of life left.
Asking price is $6,000 or best offer.
