Default how do I install a techometer into a 02 civic si

I recently bought a autometer tach from one of my buddies and I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to intall it it has 3 wires comin out. Can anyone tell me what wires they go to and where they are in my 02 civic si? Any help would be appreciated.

I also think that it might be something simple. The monster tachs IMO look too big and they're a theft target. Plus they look weird on a stock car.

My car isn't really stock, but anyway I guess I will take a look at the wiring behind the tach. Thanks for the help

dlimz: have you done modifications to raise the redline such as changing the displacement? If no, fix your stock tach and resist the urge to rice

how do u change the displacement? I'm new to this stuf. My car has cold air intake, k&n air filter, nuespeed short shifter, and a greddy muffler. What other semi cheap things can I do? Obviously a header. Any other suggestions?
