Default b16, b18 head swap question

My friend has a LS b18, I have b16 A2 (vtech). I heard that swapping the head of a b18 to a b16 motor will give you higher compression. First, is this true, second, if it is then is that only for the gsr head or will it have the same effect with the LS motor.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you are thinking of an ls/vtec, then it is the ls bottom end and a vtec head. I could be miss understanding you and there might be a reverse of that with the bigger head but i have never heard of it... any one else know of anything...??

1 it wouldn't be v-tec
