Default Aight .S2000 eng. with a RSX TypeS...

S2000 eng. with a RSX TypeS trany in a 9O civic
can it be done ? will it work?

i cant get it
but i dont know how much troble it be

and its be worth it?

s2k engine bolts up to rsx tranny just fine, however the flywheels/clutch assemblies aren't compatable. If you had the means to create your own flywheel/pilot bearing then yes it could be done, but why? why go through all that extra work when you can get the same 240hp outta the k20a with some mild work

if you have that kind of money for that swap, go with a B18C5 and turbo it, kill a S2000 motor anyday :goodjob:

-Used Engine (67k) (Km)
-Acura rs Trans
-Type R Clutch and Flywheel
-Turbo Ready Crankshaft
-Forged hks pistons
-Ajustable camshafts
-Greedy 4-1 headers
-The Rest is Stock
-196hp at 6300 rpm
-3900$ (american)

Second: K20a I-Vtech (Stock Acura Rsx type-s Engine)
-Used engine (23k) (Miles)
-Without headers
-6 speed tranny
-Completely stock
-203hp at 8000 rpm
-5999$ (american)
-Needs lots of tuning cause it Doesn't fit

ummm...yeah....that is just not right...Type R's didnt come with b18a's

I think he was saying the integra RS.

either way that's still not right. any 193whp NA motor isn't gonna be for $3900..period.

not to mention why would you want an aftermarket crankshaft or pistons for an NA application. Cast OEM pistons and cast OEM crank are better for NA.

You're making yourself look dumb already :doh: It's definitely spelled i-VTEC (please learn what VTEC is), and the K20A is the JDM ITR engine. The RSX-S is K20A2.

i thought JDM ITR was B18c (usdm b18c5)...didnt know tegs had Ks...

edit: OOOOOOOO MY BAD, the whole usdm to jdm 4th gen teg confused me (rsx-->ITR) blah ignore me
