Default Need some help

I have a b16a2 in my 92 hatch and i recently accquired p72 ecu. I was running off the p28 with no problems other then bangin out at 76. But now with the gsr ecu, it seems to be running worse. First thing, when the engine warms up (to where the vtec would start kickin) the engine light comes on and the vtec becomes non-existent. Also there is a noticible lack of power when the engine light comes on. Can anyone out there help me out or should i be findin the proper p30 ecu.

Thnx,

I would find the proper ECU. The P72 is looking for the secondary butterflies, but they are non-existent on the B16a2, so that is probably the source of the CEL.

Find out what the CEL light is and then go from there. If it is a OBD1, you can chip it and load P30 maps on it and disable the secondary butterflies and it should run just fine.
