Default 92 civic amp wiring?

wow. i hate to be one of them new guys that post questions...:ugh: but... i searched all the posts i could find about wiring the power cable thru the firewall, & im still having problems finding a hole thru my 92 civic sedan firewall

i looked all thru my engine and found zero (0) places i could see a wire might go thru (this was expected seeing as alot of the time u have to make the hole)

i peeled back my carpet on both the driver and passenger sides but only found plastic circle type plugs that are a translucent white plastic color(if that helps)

i removed a couple of them and inspected the holes they led to, i found a sort of rubber sheet blocking it any further. i would go ahead and poke thru it but i cant find where it would go thru to in the engine. and im not trying to stab my battery etc

oh and idk what a grommet is...:-\ heh...

there might be a rubber plug behind the battery on the firewall, and one on the other side, in front of where the guage cluster is, a couple inches down from the top.

i have two holes in my del sol. '94. i was told it's an EG1 in that helps. anyway, one is by the brake booster on the driver's side. and the other is slightly below/right of my battery. i used that hold to run the power wire through. it goes in, then straight down (very tightly) till it pops out under my glove box. any help?

don't do it thru the door jam! it can cause a fire and very unsightly looking. there's an grommet to the bottom right of the battery. also another one behind the battery at the bottom, but that requires taking out the battery. if i have free time tomorrow i'll take a picture of where i'm talking of.

there's a rubber grommet behind the battery on the firewall, pop it out, cut an x in it, run the wire through, and pop the grommet back in. done.
