Default 97 TL srs diagnositic tools

I need a 2p scs plug connector to clear codes and read faults to the srs system. The Acura manual says not to use a jumper wire for that purpose. What is the 2p connector if not a jumper? Does it incorporate a resister/diode/capacitor and if so, does anyone know the values and wiring of the components. I suspect that it is a simple 2p jumper plug with a built in resister. The Acura dealer will not let me borrow the connector, they want to charge a big fee to clear and read the fault codes. I hope someone knows how the plug is made so I can make one. Johnathon

I just yesterday used the "paperclip method" and it worked on my '96 2.5 TL. No guarantees but it worked for me...
