Radio Code for 92 Vigor

Can I get the radio code without removing the radio? I've tried all ideas listed on this site with no luck. Thanks.

remove the radio. write down the serial number. call the dealer.

pull out the ashtray and look under it. Sometimes the dealers wrote them there
