Default ::New to site, see my Vigor::

Hi everyone, I have a 1994 Acura Vigor GS. I am currently trying to find some mod headlights and tailights...I have found some black housing JDM headlights but I cannot find any tail lights...any clues? Please check out my car here: My Vigor If you can register on that site and vote for me I would really appreciate it but just leave me any comments/questions/suggestions here if not. I really want to get this car into some shows but it needs to have the engine cleaned and some show quality items like an interesting paint job and body kit (but its a shame to drill into this car, and more of a shame to paint this original paint job).

Now I have a question, it seems to me that the car hesitates when I accelerate soon after I start the engine to go somewhere. I was told perhaps the fuel filter ans system but I am pretty sure thats all new becuase it was in for a tune up so new plugs and it appears to be a new filter but I havent taken it off to see. I just filled the tank up with 93octane gas and the 10 dollar fuel system cleaner crap, I am not sure if it did much. it doesnt seem to hesitate the same...but it seems like the HP in this car just all of a sudden kicks in. I would like it to have more acceleration and not to have to worry about it if I need to pull out quickly. Another problem I have is the electrical system seems to be touchy, the horn doesnt work and the brake light red light keeps coming on, my back right tail light had water all in it so I took it off and let about a gallon of water come out haha, and I also replaced the turn signal becuase it looked old and was coming out of its metal socket. Still the light comes on, any idea?

As far as work to be done on this car its hard, I have the r12 freon (not sure thats how you spell it) and its apparently illegal to get it refilled? So I am told I have to reto fit it to the new stuff and I was also told that they are coming out with a even newer type soon that cars might have to be retrofitted to (I am skeptical to that becuase I think they will just make it compatible.) To retrofit and fill it up and find the leak for my AC I was quated at around 250 dollars...isnt that a bit much?

Anyone live in florida? I need someone to help me with this car.
Thanks for reading this and have a good one,
Ryan

Default code to radio

The radio should be something like my code 44434 (5 digits) some time stamped in the rear or bottom of radio.
Thanks

Need to pull the radio from the dash and get the serial # and "ref" # off the deck itself. Give these numbers to an acura dealer and they can get the code for you.

If the car came with the owners manual, etc. Check to see if its written in there too.

It also has been known that some vigors have the code on the bottom of the ashtray - pull and view. But Please, empty the ashtray before turning over
