New TL audio ? does it plays MP3

does the new tl play mp3's. i was wondering if i burn mp3s on a dvd than would i be able to play them,

I wish it did, I bought one anyway, great car and sound system yet will not play mp3's.

Only the RL does. I don't know why they would choose DVD audio over MP3.

I would much rather burn my MP3s to a reg CDRs, than to format them all to .wav, and burn a DVD. Now if it played DVD video on the Navi screen I would feel better.
