94 honda civic 1.5
I've put a msd rotor and cap on my old 95 civic 1.5L with a SS blaster coil. It is NOThard to do just take your time.
Some supplies needed 1st 3 feet of double wire of about either 20 or 18 guage wire. Some silacone either ( dries )clear or blue atv silacone.
1st thing is take off the spark plug wires one at time and mark them where they go on the cap.
2nd take the distributor off the head there will be 3 bolts to remove. I think it was either a 10mm or 12mm socket for the bolts.
3rd remove the cap, then remove the coil out of the distributor. make sure to mark the wires which is + and which is - on the coil. If I remember right the black wire with a yellow strip is the - negative wire for the new blaster coil.
4th Now is where a little skill comes in to play. you while need to figure out where to drill the whole in the distributor for the new wires for the new coil. I would suggest that you drill the whole so it pointing down toward the engine block. Before you do the final install of the distributor you use either blue atv silacone or some clear silacone. This is so water or moisture does not get in the distributor. Don't forget to replace the rubber O ring on the distributor.
