Default vigor jdm engine install

Help

I just purchase a jdm engine for my 92 acura vigor engine, I has anyone done this this before. I would like to know what I would have to replace to make this engine work in my car? What are the differences between the American model and the Japanese model? Can anyone tell me what step has to be done .

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated

I am just surprised that you would buy the engine without knowing if it will work or not. You should probably speak to a shop that has done engine swaps before on Honda/Acuras. I am sure it would fit, but the hardest part is always the little things like wiring harnesses and emission controls. Oh yeah, the steering will be kind of tricky because as you know, JDM is right hand drives and yours is a left hand drive.

Three weeks ago I put one in my car with 39,000 miles. I knowyou need a the JDM harness...it has higher compression being the main difference.

I wish I knew more to help you but I had someone put it in for me. And obviously, yes it fits.

Screw just using the block. Unless it's not running and you need to rebuild the engine or whatever...

I say find someone who knows enough about Honda/Acura's who can put in the harness and maybe computer... (hopefully you wont have to buy one) Good luck with the install and PLEASE post some pics when you get it all taken care of.

Default vigor shop manual

Ok
I guess I have to only use block on the jdm engine I purchased, I have had a few replies.......

one guy said I need the jdm harness and the jdm computer,

another said there a some differences but did not explain how you get pass that,

I am hoping the mechanic will not charge me too much more.

Watch shop manual is better Chilton or Haynes ?
