Default FS: 1997 Civic EX coupe - Indiana

As per usual, I want to sell this car every summer for something new. It's a '97 Granada black pearl Civic EX coupe. There are ~73,500 miles on the car and engine. I have all of the dealer records up until 54K, at which point I acquired the car. Call me cheap, but I'd rather change my own oil rather than pay a dealership to do so. I have always used 10W-30 Mobil 1 regular oil every 3,500 miles. The engine is a stock 1.6L VTEC which runs perfectly and uses no oil.

Mods-
*H&R Sport springs (lowered 1.75 inches in front, 1.5 in the rear)
*KYB AGX gas adjustable shocks (I have only changed the settings on occasion, so no worries about early wear)
*HKS Hi-power exhaust
*Mugen style carbon fiber front lip from Carbon Creations
*DIY gunmetal headlights (orange reflectors removed, can be replaced with stock headlights)
*custom taillights (not altezzas, the orange turn signal lenses have been stained a red that matches the brakes)
*TYC Elegante carbon fiber-look power mirrors

The car is also equipped with a JVC CDR/RW compatible headunit and aftermarket Viper alarm system. I have the original Honda head unit and 6-disc trunk mounted CD holder (Alpine), as well as the stock mirrors. I can sell the car with 16" Rota Circuit 8s w/ Yokohama ES100s, or with the stock steelies.

Condition: The paint looks good for being 8 years old and stored outside all its life. There is a paint chip in the passenger door about the size of a pencil eraser. There are 3 small dents on the rear fenderwell on the passenger side from careless people in parking lots. The rear bumper had been lightly hit prior to my ownership. There are two decent sized areas where the clearcoat has peeled off the rear bumper, and the driver's side also hangs about 1/4" lower than it should. The paint on the roof is somewhat pitted, but nothing too serious. There is one small chip in the windshield that hasn't cracked at all over the last 18 months.

I have a Carfax that I printed out last year when I had unlimited free checks for 30 days. The car's history is totally clean. I have all records from 37 miles to 54,000. The Carfax does claim that this car has ABS, but it does not. I can provide the VIN number and any additional pictures that anyone interested may need.

Ha, sorry, a price would probably be a good idea, huh? I'm looking for $6500 OBO, not looking for a bike though. The timing belt and water pump haven't been changed, as Honda doesn't recommend that as a necessity for another 30,000 miles. I also forgot to mention that the car is a 5-speed.

Looks good. I live in Indy but the car is a little too expensive for my price range right now. Free bump though!

Bump. I keep finding things wrong with the car's paint. Apparently someone tried to break into my car sometime, I never noticed. Just above the rear upper corner of the driver's side window there is maybe 3-4 inches by 3/4 of an inch where the paint has been torn down from a wire or something. It could probably be professionally buffed out. Also, there are some scratches on the passenger side of the front bumper under the lip. They could also probably be buffed out, but aren't noticeable when the lip is on.

I took off the vinyl "Teckademics" banner, as well as the rear bumper sticker, and made sure the alarm works. It does.
$6500 OBO!
