'92 Acura Vigor
My front large clear headlight has a minor hole and, when it rains, water leaks in and it I think has rusted one of the sockets (?). I would like to take the headlight off to wash away the "orange dust", replace the bulb and super-glue the hole shut. Just spent 1 hour outside trying to disconnect it - to no avail. Does anyone know how to do this? (Please tell me I don't have to remove the whole front!)
I have not yet had to replace or remove the headlights on my Vigor, but if it's anything like that 90-93 Accord that I had previous to this, you have to remove the whole bumper cover - which is probably the case, since the Vigor is the based on that body style Accord. It's not that hard, just seems a little "WHAT WERE THEY THINKING??" there should be 4 bolts on bumper - loosen them and drop it down enough to reach the bolts for the headlights. Good luck however with the cleaning on the inside of the lens - that'll be very difficult. You might be better off searching Ebay for the headlight rather than going through all that work for not a lot of payoff. Let me know what you find out! -Gavin
